Meal Planning at Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach!
Presented by: Briana Schmickle, RD/LMNT, Dietitian & Outreach Specialist
A number of homeless and low-income individuals face health problems related to food and nutrition. Many individuals in this socioeconomic group have food security issues. For this reason, agencies such as Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach (MTKO) exist; in an effort to help meet the daily nutritional needs of these individuals, each day of the year. A part of meeting this need is to insure that healthy, well-balanced meals are being offered to individuals who may obtain most of their sustenance from the meals served at MTKO.
