Nebraska's First Lady, Sally Ganem and the Nebraska Volunteer Service Commission named
Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach Hunger Relief Volunteer Teams as recipients of the 2008 Nebraska Impact Award-Outstanding Volunteer Group of the Year!

Members of the MTKO Staff Team accepted the award at the March 31st Outstanding Community Service Awards Dinner. Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach Volunteers were presented the award, along with a complimentary gift, at our Volunteer Appreciation Event during National Volunteer Appreciation Week. MTKO Executive Director, Susanne Blue expressed sincere gratitude to the Volunteer Teams who provide meals each month, stressing that the many Outreach Services provided at MTKO would not be impossible without the sustaining generosity
of our Hunger Relief Programs Volunteer Teams.
